Can we have gem mining dirt delivered to us?
When my daughter was little there was the little jewerly store that we could buy 20lb bags of mining dirt from. We found all kinds of rubies and sapphires and many other gem stones, the kids loved it. We had a rock tumbler/polisher and a few weeks later most of the kids got to see what those rocks turned into and take them home.
My daughter wants to do it again. But the jewery store has closed. Does anyone know where we can order mining dirt? I don’t want YARD dirt so anybody with that cute idea please forget it right now…I am looking for serious responders only….lol

do you know (probably not, right?) what area the dirt originated from? it sounds like a lot of fun. i’ll try to find out more…..
